How to use Sparkit Market:

1. Are there any fees or membership requirements?

You can view and post listings for free. That means no membership or fees required!

2. So why become a spark (member)?

When you become a member you get the added bonus of having your own profile. This profile allows users to know a little more about you (you can control how much they get to know), and in turn they may feel more inclined to sell or buy your item, rent out your apartment, go to your event and more! You also get to manage all posts through your spark page. You can save posts that you especially like in your favorites. You can rate and comment on other posts, and so much more!

3. How do you buy an item?

To buy an item you need to contact the seller and make sure that the price and condition of the item meets your expectations. Then you should arrange to meet in a public place that has a lot of people present to insure safety. Great ways of recognizing your contact include wearing a specific piece of clothing, meeting up at a specific place, and exchanging phone numbers.

4. How do I sell an item?

You can sell an item by simply clicking on post to (and then the category you would like to post to). After entering in your email address (members can post directly from SparkitMarket.com, which is another reason to join!) and a security code an email will be sent to the email address that you provided. This email will contain a link back to SparkitMarket.com where you can edit your post, delete your post, and most importantly publish your post. Save this link so that you can delete sold or old items, or edit your post should you desire to do so.

 

5. What features do I have when posting to Sparkit Market?

When you post, you can control a number of different features.  You can choose how long your post stays active, 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days (events are deleted after their event date passes); you can add up to 8 pictures; you can add a video; you can control the font color, style and format of your post and so much more!
